Educational modules
As part of The Ethics of Doubt project, I co-designed and convened two online educational modules hosted by the University of Southampton, entitled Navigating the Information Age I and Navigating the Information Age II. The first module introduces students to foundational concepts such as information/mis- and disinformation, fake news, bullshit, echo chambers, and conspiracy theories. The second introduces them to themes like identifying experts and expertise, scepticism, virtuous arguing, and relativism. By emphasising the role of the intellectual virtues, these modules aim to help students navigate their way through our increasingly changing information landscape.
